Platinum Rewards Points Disclosures
“Farmers Insurance” policy premiums and other qualifying “Farmers" purchases Rewards Points:
Cardholder will receive Points as previously noted; Bonus Points in addition to the standard reward points issued, are based on net transaction usage (purchase returns or transaction credit equal to or greater than the amount of transaction will not qualify towards transaction count, minimum $5 per transaction to qualify). Effective June 1, 2019 through May 31, 2020, (promotional dates subject to change) card users will receive Merchant Bonus Rewards. Each designated merchant is assigned a code by a third party that indicates the Merchant’s area of business. Qualifying transactions will gain Bonus Points at 3x’s (three times) the Bonus Points for all the use of designated merchants. Members earn the Bonus Points when they pay their “Farmers Insurance” policy premiums and perform other qualifying “Farmers" purchases using their Visa Platinum cards. (See below) Bonus Points will only be awarded if the Merchant Code for the purchase matches a category eligible for the offer. FIGFCU does not have the ability to control assignment of the Merchant Codes, each merchant is assigned a code by a third party that indicates the Merchant’s area of business and affiliation. Promotional Points will post once per month on the 15th calendar day starting on July 15th for the 1st. All points earned will be based on net of purchases and returns. The Promotional 3x bonus points for all Farmers Merchants is calculated as follows: 1 normal spend point + 2 bonus points – Points are reported as a total earn per month. FIGFCU does not have the standard ability to issue/provide point breakdowns. The following do not qualify as purchases: cash advances, interest, fees, balance transfers, payments, and the use of convenience checks or reward points redemption). It may take up to several business days for purchases to be posted to the account. Bonus points will be awarded to the primary cardholder on the first monthly statement after the qualifying purchase(s) are posted to the account. Account holder must be a member in good standing to qualify for the bonus point rewards. Offer applies to only to Platinum Visa® account holders. Offer may be revoked if you appear to be manipulating or abusing the card usage, or are engaged in any suspicious or fraudulent activity, as determined by FIGFCU in its sole discretion. Offer may be withdrawn or changed without notice at any time. We may make changes to the program and the terms of this agreement at any time. For example, the Credit Union may: add new terms or delete terms change how you earn points change how you use points change what you can get with your points. The Credit Union may temporarily prohibit you from earning points, using points you’ve already earned, or using any features of the program. FIGFCU may supplement this agreement with additional terms, conditions, disclosures, and agreements that will be considered part of this agreement. This version of the agreement takes the place of any earlier versions, including those that were called “Rewards Program Rules and Regulations”. The Credit Union may continue to refer to this agreement as the Rewards Program Rules and Regulations in communications about the program and in supplemental terms, conditions, disclosures, and agreements.
